Our Ministry To You

dotIf you do decide to partner with us, what can you expect? First, understand that we are not simply looking for donations. We want to involve you in what God is doing in the world. We don't want to be people that you send off overseas and wonder what happened to them. We want you to know us, and know what we are doing. Expect communication, interaction, and, hopefully, encouragement as we serve God together.

dotIn short, we want to have ministry WITH you, and also TO you. How can we minister TO you?

dotHonestly, my thinking about missions ministry used to be very one-sided: "You send me over there to do ministry to the unreached." But now I have come to understand that God wants us to reach out to His people in our home country. Our "State-side" mission is to inform, inspire and involve you and your church in God's work.

dotWe can do this by publishing information about Japan on our weblog. It might be the latest statistics on depression, or a link to a news video on the alarming suicide rate. As you read more about Japan, you will start to see the great spiritual need here.

Visit our weblog and see the latest by clicking the link at the bottom of this page.

dotWe are also available to talk to you about Japan and what God is doing here. Thanks to the internet, we can talk (via Skype) to you for free (or almost free). There is also email and instant messaging. Again, check our blog for contact information.

dotAnd perhaps we can get you over here to see the need for yourself! We are always looking for opportunities to get churches and individuals involved in what God is doing in Japan. Talk to us about possibilities!

More About Japan:

dotOne way you can learn more about the need in Japan is to listen to Japanese Christians talk about it. The clip to the right is Shinobu Hasegawa, a believer from a TEAM-planted church. Kyehee and I were moved by her words of faith.
