As missionaries, Kyehee and I see two major purposes to our ministry. The first, of course, is proclaiming Hope For Japan to those who have never heard.

But our second important purpose is to involve God's people in God's work. We are advocates encouraging you to participate in the greatest work in history. God is reaching the lost with the gospel, and He desires each of us to play some important role. It is both the privilege and the duty of every person who believes the gospel is true.

Because of our heart for the unreached of Japan, we make no secret of our desire to have as many as possible join with us in this great mission.

But we are also very aware that we need you. Japan is a spiritual stronghold of Satan, and we would not dream of attempting ministry there without a family of committed prayer partners lifting us up regularly. The struggle is a spiritual one against the forces holding the Japanese in bondage, and we believe your prayers for us will be critical for successful ministry.

We developed a burden for the Japanese people as we learned about their spiritual need. We'd like the chance to share that with you. As you see the need, perhaps God will lead you to help us reach the unreached of Japan.

As missionaries with TEAM, our ministry is by faith, trusting God to meet our needs through His people. This means there is no mission board or organization paying our way to Japan.

This also means there is an opportunity to form a special bond between those who go (us) and those who send (you). Our supporters are not just "donors" giving to a good cause. They are joint partners with us as together we take the gospel to the millions of Japanese who have never heard.
